A Rainy Autumnal Elopement in Glencoe Scotland

K & D came all the way from the midwestern USA to elopement in the mountains with us. Early October can promise so many things here in Scotland - and of course, rain is certainly one of them. Fear not though, K & D were well up for the adventure. We layered up and hiked to one of our favorite locations in the country, overlooking the magnificent Three Sisters mountains.

After a heartfelt ceremony, we explored the surrounding crags and soaked up the weather - literally and figuratively. It truly made it all the more romantic. Snapping Polaroids as we went, we made the most of the day no matter the weather. But of course, Conor eventually broke out the umbrellas for some respite!

We headed down the road to one more amazing location before packing it in. We wandered down to the ever-famous Lagangarbh Hut and enjoyed a quaich ritual on the stony riverbed, under the watch of the great Buachaille Etive Mòr.

Soaked to the bone and full of smiles, we headed back to the car and ended a wet and wild elopement in the heart of the highlands. A day like no other.
