Personalised Ceremony
Conor will be your celebrant and lead you through a fun and easy consultation process so you can have a beautiful ceremony personalised perfectly to your story. We will also provide supplies for any traditions you may want to include - like a vintage quaich or handfasting tartan - which you get to keep at the end of the day. Plus a keepsake certificate to sign and take home with you too.
Digital Photography & Polaroids
Choose either All-Day or Half-Day coverage - but either way, we’ll be capturing the hero shots and intimate moments all the same. MJ will be behind the camera, and Conor by your side to carry things and provide support so you can enjoy every minute of our adventure together. We’ll both guide you effortlessly through the whole day, bringing you to awesome spots and prioritizing a fun, candid experience. Plus, you’ll get to take home a selection of Polaroids as a souvenir from your day!
Award-Winning Florals
We’ll connect you with our award-winning florists to discuss style, colors, and textures for your own florals. We will also arrange pickup and delivery for you, so you don’t have to worry about a thing. We’ll bring them straight to you on the morning of your elopement!
Wild Picnic and Champagne
Even in the middle of the great outdoors, we want you to indulge. We’ll bring you all the fixings for a simple, yet stunning picnic: a luxury tartan blanket and rustic table setting, a gourmet grazing platter with local Scottish nibbles, artisan bread to keep you fuelled, and of course, a cool bottle of Champagne to celebrate. Plus, we always keep hot coffee and tea at the ready for those wet and wild days when you need a cuppa to keep you going.
Chauffeur & Tour Guide Services
Kick back and relax all day while we drive you around the best spots in Scotland. Who needs a venue when we have a brand new luxury SUV - the perfect companion for your adventurous day out in the highlands. With all the modern comforts and stylish aesthetics, you will truly feel like royalty on your elopement day.
Our Guidance & Expertise
We’ll both be there with you through the entire planning journey, and on the elopement day itself. Seamless. We’re more than just a celebrant and photographer team - we’re your wedding planners, your coordinators, your tour guides, your local experts, your adventure buddies, and your new friends. On the day itself, we’ll be prepared with everything you need for an epic day out in the wild - including umbrellas, towels, lanterns, extra drinks and snacks, safety pins, bobby pins, and most importantly - a handy first aid kit. We want you to feel completely catered for. Even from the very beginning, we’re here to help you through it all. From brainstorming to your first anniversary, we’re a part of your story - and you’re a part of ours.
Plus, endless add-ons…
We can also help you explore optional elements to add to your elopement that will make it even more special. The options are endless, but here are a few of our favorites…
Elopement Film
You will have the opportunity to work with real-life filmmakers to create a visual legacy encapsulating the raw emotion and unique beauty of your elopement day. It will be a reminder of the magic and fleeting moments that made up your experience here in Scotland. And it gives you a way to share your adventure with friends and family in a soulful and emotive way.
Beauty Styling
Feel your absolute best with a little pampering on your elopement day. Whether that means hair and makeup, a hot shave, a fresh cut, a relaxing massage, special skin care or a trendy nail treatment - we can help you find local stylists for your treatments.
Musicians
Just because you’re eloping doesn’t mean you don’t deserve to have wedding music! Our personal favorite is a bagpiper - there’s nothing like the sound of the pipes echoing down the glen on a wedding day. But anything you like, we can help with.
Unique Dining
For all our foodies - we have some truly special experiences for you here in Scotland. Whether you’re looking for Michelin restaurants, your own private chef, or an oyster shack by the sea - we can help you organise the perfect meal. And don’t forget about the whisky!
Kilt Rental
If you fancy wearing a traditional Scottish outfit, we can help you put together and organise a kilt rental for when you arrive in Scotland. We can also help you explore which tartan suits you best, what accessories you’d like to include, and what measurements to prepare.
Local Activities
Scotland is home to some of the most incredible landscapes on the planet, with some pretty amazing ways to experience them too. From sunrise kayaking to guided falconry, we can help you plan out the most unique places to go and things to do while you’re here.
The Elopement Planning Process
Our process is tried-and-true.
We like to approach elopement planning one step at a time, so no one gets overwhelmed with too many decisions. Plus, our recommendation materials are always formatted with pictures, links, and extra research content so you be as involved or laidback as you want.
-
As soon as your booking is confirmed, we’ll set you up on your Elopement Planning Portal where you can keep track of all your valuable resources. First, you have our 100-page Elopement Handbook, full of information about eloping in Scotland - from tips on creating your vision, how to pick a location, ideas for what to do, who to include, how to tell your friends and family about your elopement, and even how to choose your attire! Let this handbook guide and inspire you for crafting your elopement vision. Then we have our extensive Planning Questionnaire to help you brainstorm and share your vision with us, including questions (and suggestions) about your ceremony, photo/video coverage, florals, beauty, music, food, activities, and anything else you can think of for your elopement. This will be the foundation on which we make our planning recommendations, so there is no rush or time limit on how long you spend filling it out.
-
Once we receive your Questionnaire back, we will start exploring elopement locations using two of our most valuable resources: our Locations Guide and interactive Travel Map. We'll also send you personalised recommendations based on the priorities you highlighted in your questionnaire. These can be based on a specific area of interest (e.g. Glencoe), a type of scenery or accessibility preference (e.g. by the ocean or a mountainous hiking location), or based on a particular accommodation option that we think fits your vision really well (e.g. castle with enough room for 10 people to stay).
After we choose your general elopement location, we can send you further recommendations for nearby accommodation, dining, or activities to explore.
-
Next we will explore the florists near your elopement location and put together a floral order. For fresh florals, we can arrange pickup and bring them to you. If you prefer dry florals, we can arrange to have them delivered to your accommodation in advance (once booked).
-
If you would like to book any other elements (hair and makeup, videography, music, activities, food, etc.) then we will send you local recommendations and help you find the perfect fit. All booking contracts and payments can be made directly with the additional suppliers. We will then create a group email thread so you can complete the booking contracts and payments directly.
-
Once any additional elements are booked, we will work on a first draft of your itinerary - including sunrise and sunset, arrival times for everyone, prep and getting ready expectations, travel times between locations, when your ceremony begins, photo coverage beginning and ending times, dining reservations, and anything else you need to keep track of.
-
Conor will be in touch to discuss how you would like your ceremony to flow, what you'd like to include, and brainstorm some things you might want to do during the ceremony. If you'd like to have a legal ceremony, we can help you choose one of our affiliated legal celebrants. You will be responsible for completing your marriage paperwork, but we are certainly here to help. Our Legal Paperwork Guide is accessible from your portal at any time. We recommend reading it in advance and compiling all the information/documents you will need to apply. We will remind you when the 3-month mark is approaching too, so you can get ready to submit your applications.
-
About 2-4 weeks before your elopement, we will also invite you to our Final Call to go over the plans for your elopement - including information, maps for the locations, the final itinerary, and everyone's contact details. We will also create a WhatsApp group chat so you can easily get in touch with us if you need anything. Your final payment will be due one month before your elopement.
-
Your elopement day is here! We will be by your side the whole time, making sure everything goes smoothly. Not only will we take care of the ceremony and photography, but we'll also be there to hold your jackets, remind you to drink water, drive to your ceremony, be your tour guides, be your hiking buddies, and overall, be your Scotland friends you know and trust. We will also bring some helpful elopement supplies, and everything you need for a Wild Picnic after your ceremony. If the weather does't cooperate, we can set up in your accommodation (if permitted), or we can head to a nearby restaurant!
-
Within 1-3 days, we will send you some sneak peeks to share with your family and friends while you wait for your full gallery. Then you just have to sit back and relax while we carefully curate and edit your full gallery of photos from your day. This usually takes between 4-8 weeks during peak season. After you have receive your online photo gallery, we can help you design a wedding album that’s just right for you, or order your own products directly from your digital gallery. You can expect albums within 5 weeks of ordering, and prints within just a few days! Everything will arrive beautifully packaged like the gifts they are, right to your home, ready to be cherished.
Your Wild Picnic…
Even in the middle of the great outdoors, we want you to endulge.
Keep in mind - Scotland is known for unpredictable weather. If we’re faced with uncooperative circumstances on your elopement day, we can easily switch to a Plan B.
Your unique ceremony experience
In addition to a personalised ceremony with a fun consultation process, Conor will come prepared with a handful of complimentary accessories to make your experience even more unique and special.
Plus, lots of laughs and a fair share of whisky.
And the icing on the cake…
We really are here to make the most of your once-in-a-lifetime elopement. Your experience on the day is everything to us. We’ll stock the car with sparkling water, we’ll bring a steamer for your travel-stale outfits, we’ll carry some clear umbrellas and towels… just in case. We also like to serve up a hot cup of joe in the middle of our adventure - and yes, we even have oat milk.
Point being - we’re here for you. You’re in good hands. You’ve got nothing to worry about.
FAQ
-
We cover locations all over Scotland - including Isle of Skye, Glencoe, Torridon, and so many other hidden gems! The first stage of planning with us is figuring out your elopement location. You’ll receive our Location Guide with over 50 specific locations around Scotland, plus personalised highlights based on your Questionnaire answers.
-
In a pinch, we have planned elopements in as little as one week! But that’s not completely ideal… We recommend at least 3 months to give you plenty of time to make travel arrangements and explore all your options. Although most people book around 6-12 months in advance.
-
Any time of year is great! Although we do avoid summer months (July and August) due to the weather, extended daylight hours, and huge influx of tourists for the international Fringe Festival. We personally love spring and autumn for elopements, but the winter months are incredible too - if you’re brave! MJ’s favorite elopement month is October. Conor’s favorite elopement month is April.
-
Yes we do! Most of our clients travel from abroad, and we would absolutely love to help you make the most of your trip to Scotland. For international payments, we accept Great British Pounds (GBP) through a multi-currency transfer app called Wise - but we’ll include all the specific information in your booking proposal.
-
Your booking will be split into two invoices: one invoice for planning/celebrant services, and a separate invoice for photography services. We normally take a £2,000 deposit upon booking to save your spot in our diary, followed by the remaining balances due one month before your elopement. However we can also set up other payment plans if you prefer to pay in smaller, more frequent instalments.
-
Yes we do! If you would like to have a legal ceremony, there is some paperwork you will have to complete. Check out our Legal Paperwork Guide for an idea of what is required. For folks coming from abroad, we always recommend symbolic ceremonies to avoid the stress, cost, and bureaucracy of marriage visas.
-
We accept bookings with up to 10 people. It’s totally up to you whether you want to bring guests though. We encourage you to bring a few people only if it will make the overall elopement experience better for you. Just keep in mind, you might find it difficult to accommodate large groups, especially in the more remote locations of Scotland. And yes, we most certainly are dog friendly!
-
No, we like to leave that separate so you have more flexibility to choose an option that matches your vision and budget - but we will help you find the perfect place! We include extensive lists of accommodation options in our Travel Guides - including hotels, bed and breakfasts, lodges, and self-catering options.
-
Your package includes chauffeur services so you can be comfortable and relaxed your entire elopement day without worrying about navigating roads you’re unfamiliar with. It also means you can enjoy some drinks if you’re inclined! Please keep in mind, you will still have to make your own way to your accommodation before your elopement. We highly recommend renting a car while visiting Scotland, as it will allow you complete freedom to explore some of the country’s best locations. If you prefer not to rent a car, we can recommend locations that are easy to get to via public transportation.
-
We are more than happy to change the date of your elopement at no extra cost, as long as we are able to accommodate your new date. You will also have to check with your accommodation, and any additional suppliers you hire.
-
Embrace the weather! This is Scotland, so you need to prepare for all seasons in one day. If rain rolls in, the photos will be dramatic and epic. You will have amazing memories to relive. Depending where your ceremony location is, we can make a Plan B for a just-in-case scenario. They say rain on your wedding day is good luck though!
