A Misty Elopement in Glencoe with Lanterns and a Picnic
H&M travelled from Colorado, USA to join us in the mountains of Glencoe for their elopement. They stayed in Fort William, which was easy to get to from Edinburgh without renting a car. We picked them up in the INEOS Grenadier, and headed for the mountains. Our visibility started as a misty, foggy atmosphere when we started the ceremony - but halfway through, the fog lifted and the sun streaked over the mountains in the distance. We explored the rocks, and hiked back down to wander through the rest of the glen. After a picnic by the wee White Cottage, we roamed the Etive Road and brought out the lanterns as the sun was setting. A perfect end to a dramatic, beautiful day!
