A Windy, Wild, Castle Elopement in Glencoe
A&A decided a castle would be the perfect setting for their international elopement with family. We helped them find the perfect spot near Glencoe, so they could enjoy an epic place to stay while still being able to have their ceremony in the magical mountains of Glencoe. After a laidback morning getting ready in the castle, we headed to the foot of the Three Sisters for an intimate, emotional ceremony. The rain, wind, and sunshine couldnβt decide whether they would stay or go. It was a wild and beautiful day full of love and adventure. After the ceremony and a toast with guests, we wandered to the white cottage for a few more photos.
Plus a few words from our lovely couple:
βMy husband and I spent almost a year searching for something that felt right for us. From Hawaii to Washington to our home in Texas, we searched and nothing quite fit us. We stumbled across Scotland Elopement Co. and added our third Zoom call of the month feeling a little lost and worried we wouldnβt find that βfeelingβ. After our Zoom call with MJ and Connor, it was no longer a question. Quite honestly, it was the easiest decision we made, they were there to guide us from big decisions like our elopement spot and bagpiper (do it, it changes the whole experience) to small details like local eats, stays and activities. They helped us find Barcaldine Castle for a unique stay with our family in Glencoe. They made planning and envisioning feel effortless even from another country.
I donβt think any of us have ever heard of an easy wedding day? Our experience was to the contrary, MJ and Connorβs warmth made it feel like being in the presence of old friends. Taking the work of the day right out of our hands so we can be in the moment with each other. We canβt thank them enough for the experience, capturing beautiful emotions, moments and giving us a day we can endlessly relive.β
