An Atmospheric Boat Trip Elopement at Loch Coruisk on the Isle of Skye
A & A travelled from Texas to elope with us on the misty Isle of Skye at sunrise. Loch Coruisk is one of the most beautiful locations in the entire country, and takes quite the journey to get there. We started the adventure at Elgol’s beautiful pier, looking over the water to the Cuillin Mountains in the distance. We hopped on a private boat charter, and A & A took the chance to write their vows in the peaceful morning air. We landed at the remote peninsula and wandered along the loch until we found a ceremony spot that felt just right.
The morning mist was sitting thickly among the mountaintops, and the water was just like glass. It couldn’t have been more perfect. Conor led us through a gorgeous ceremony, complete with a quaich and handfasting ritual. We explored the lochside a bit more before wandering over to their Wild Picnic with tasty breakfast pastries and a fun Champagne pop! The morning eventually came to a close, and we were picked up by our boat just in time to say hello to the other visitors arriving at the loch for the day.
