Day 1 of 2: Isle of Skye Elopement Ceremony at the Fairy Pools
As lovers of hiking and the outdoors, Janessa and Travis immediately knew they would elope. They knew they wanted dramatic landscapes of epic proportions - and that's exactly what Scotland has.
Janessa and Travis were looking for an elopement full of personalisation, adventure, and style - so our all-inclusive package fit them perfectly. We planned an elopement that included everything they needed, including 2-day photography coverage, videography, a styled evening meal, and most importantly - a private chef. Janessa and Travis are big foodies, so building their own menu with all locally-sourced Skye seafood was the perfect way for them to celebrate with their best friends.
After choosing the Isle of Skye as their destination, we built an epic two-day itinerary for them to hit as many iconic locations as possible. But when we woke up on their elopement day to heavy rain and high winds, we couldn't make it to their original ceremony location. One of the most important parts of what we do is having a solution to every possible outcome, and that's exactly what happened. With a Plan B itinerary ready to go, we headed out for their elopement day with just as much excitement and adventure as the original plan.
After a windy ceremony and adventure session at the Fairy Pools, we wandered out to Talisker Bay for an afternoon picnic on the beach. Suddenly, it was like we were on a tropical island! We enjoyed a gourmet picnic packed by their private chef, ran around in the ocean, and soaked up the surprise sunshine.
At the end of the day, Janessa and Travis were welcomed back to their B&B with hot food and hand-picked wine by their private chef, Emily Crichton. They changed into comfy clothes, sat down to a beautifully styled private dining experience, and spent the night celebrating from the comfort of their dining room. Good food, good wine, and good friends. A perfect night.
